Funeral services was held on Saturday, November 17, at the Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake. Burial was in the Laurens Cemetery in Laurens. Visitation took place on Friday, November 16 at the Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake. The Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake is in charge of the arrangements.Harris was born on July 15, 1931 to William (Bill) and Ella (Triggs) Bishop in Havelock, Iowa. He grew up attending First Christian Church in Laurens, Iowa, where he was baptized. Harris attended school in Havelock, Ware, and Laurens, Iowa. He grew up on the farm in Havelock, Ware, Laurens and Mallard, Iowa. Harris had a few odd jobs. He worked for Lundell in Cherokee, Iowa and he also worked on trailer houses in Nebraska. Eventually Harris decided to return to the farming business and started his own farming business just North of Laurens, Iowa. Harris enjoyed farming and taking care of livestock. Harris retired from farming in 1994, when he then moved to Storm Lake. Harris was the type of person that always reached out to help everyone he could. He was always there to help his neighbors and his family. He was just a phone call away. Although Harris never married, he was like a father figure to his nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. When Harris wasn’t busy on the farm, his hobbies consisted of watching western movies and T.V. shows. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, Harris was a very busy man but did make time to travel. He visited places like Salt Lake City, UT, Kansas City, MO, Lake of the Ozarks, MO, Black Hills, SD, Denver, CO, and Akron, OH. Harris also enjoyed attending the Iowa State Fair but most of all he enjoyed attending the Clay County Fair every year. The last few years Harris moved into North Lake Manor in Storm Lake, where he enjoyed the staff and other residents. Christopher Mosley, who played football at Timber Creek High School (Fort Worth, Texas) in 2017, was killed around 4 p.m. CST on Saturday night, according to WFAA8.The police department did not provide further information to the outlet about the incident.A family member released a statement to WFAA8 that said Mosley was shot at a house with two friends.“On November 17th Christopher Mosley was shot while with two friends at a house in North Lake, TX. We do not know at this time what the complete details of the incident were. We do not wish to make any conclusions at this time. Sixteen-year-old Chris Mosley was shot on Saturday while he was with at least two friends at a house in Northlake.Northlake police are investigating the shooting. Chief Robert Crawford told NBC 5 that investigators are not ready to say whether it was accidental. They do not believe it was suicide, are speaking with everyone involved and are not searching for anyone else.As they wait for answers, more than 350 friends and family turned out for a candlelight vigil Tuesday night to remember Mosley. Many were dressed in his favorite color, red.Mosley's sister Jada Mosley told NBC 5 he was her rock and her best friend.
